FAQs

Insurance

1. Will insurance cover this?

A: Most commercial insurances and mediCare will cover Susan's therapy sessions for you. Please inquire of her if you have coverage.

2. How do I find out if your services will be provided in full or in part by my health insurance or employee benefit plan?

A: Try asking your provider the following questions:

— Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

— What is my deductible and has it been met?

— How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

— What is the coverage amount per therapy session

— Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Payments

1. What are your rates?

A: Susan's rate is per the usual 50-60 minute sessions. This is $150.00 for the initial session and $125.00 for follow-ups. Please inform her of your issues during the initial visit, and she will quote a rate fairly tailored to you.

2. What payment methods are accepted?

A: Exact cash, checks, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment.

Policies

1. What is the cancellation policy?

A: If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you need to be prepared to pay the full cost of the session.

2. Will you tell anyone else what we discuss?

A: The law protects the law between a client and psychotherapist. Information cannot be disclosed without written permission, unless:

— Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

— What is my deductible and has it been met?

— How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

— What is the coverage amount per therapy session

— Is approval required from my primary care physician?
